Students from throughout Maine came to CMCC on Friday February 10th for the Esports Open House for Prospective Students. Students, along with their families, played games on the Alienware computers as well as the consoles available in the Arena, giving them a glimpse of their future as an Esports player for CMCC.

During this event, the Prospective Students learned about the Esports Teams and tryout process for Fall 2023 and also tested out their favorite games on our computers. During the event we had families playing with their prospective students, one family even played Mario Kart together.

Esports Coordinator, Christina Wright, commented, “It was great to see not only our Prospective Students, but also their family getting involved in the games!”

Friday was a great opportunity to meet the players interested in our teams. We look forward to them bringing their talents to CMCC Esports in the fall!
