Mustangs had a tough task ahead of them on a Saturday afternoon in a crucial ACHA match-up.  The Mustangs controlled the game from the start and in the 2nd period they were able to create a gap and finishing the game strong making the final score 7-1.

The Mustangs played with a sense of urgency and wanted to prove that they belong with the top teams in the league! “Yesterday we dropped about 30 spots in the rankings due to a strength of schedule issue. As a team we believed that this didn’t make much sense, but with Wentworth being ranked 15 spots ahead of us we had a chance to make a statement. We played with a chip on our shoulder and it was noticable. I couldn’t be more proud of how this group handles all the adversity they face,” said Coach Knoren.
