The Mustangs were tasked to face the terriers in a crucial NECHA conference match-up game on Saturday night.

The Mustangs started strong but would face themselves down 2-0 while not converting their good play to goals. Penalty trouble would overtake in a physical rivalry battle, leaving the Mustangs with a shortened bench. However they kept battling and would find a way to tie the game 2-2 sending it to overtime. The Mustangs would prevail in the shootout but for standings it will count as a tie.” Unbelievable proud of the guys who finished the game strong, our depth guys really stepped up, We were able to get 77 shots on net which shows we are creating, but you have to give Thomas goaltender credit he made some unbelievable stops to keep it close” Said Coach Knoren”
