On Friday, March 6, former Lewiston High School standout David Omasombo saw his current college team, the Bates Bobcats, fall 71-69 to the Yeshiva Maccabees in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The contest started at 1 p.m. at Panzer Athletic Center and marked the teams’ first-ever meeting in tournament play.
