The @Lewiston Public Library was founded from 1901 – 1903, and it’s still a prominent, vital part of Lewiston today. Lending Services Librarian Katherine (left) and Children’s Librarian Sara (right) “had a blast” today digitizing documents about the Library’s founding, to include supportive letters, grant efforts, and newspaper articles. Preserving history for future generations is so important, and Katherine and Sara are pictured holding a Feb. 7, 1903, newspaper article about the opening that will now be digitized in the Library’s online archives.
