Lewiston Recreation is a place for skill building, fun, competition, learning, mentoring, and so much more! Did you know that the department’s director, Nicole Welch, is President of the Maine Recreation and Park Association?
She has served the Association in various roles since 2014, and in 2017, she attained the national standard of becoming a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional.
After serving on the board of directors in an at-large position for three years, she became Vice President in 2021 and then more recently President in 2022.
So proud that she is at the helm of Lewiston Rec and representing the recreation industry across the State of Maine!
