In observance of Memorial Day, Veterans Memorial Park (next to the Great Falls) in Lewiston will be the location for reflection/remembrance on Saturday, May 27, 2023. 

Starting at 9:30 AM, the All-Volunteer Brass Brand will commence playing.

The ceremony will begin at 10 AM and will include an address by US Senator Susan Collins, Commander for the Space Force of Northern New England, and Mayor Carl L. Sheline; cannon salute by VFW Post 1603; wreath presentations; playing of taps; veteran organization reps reading names of veterans who have passed away; and much more.  Thank you, LA Veterans Council and all those participating, for this meaningful remembrance.
