Norwich Cadets fall 11-3 to Middlebury Panthers; Gwarjanski pitches one inning

On Thursday, March 12, at 3 p.m., the Norwich Cadets, featuring former Poland Regional High School standout Adam Gwarjanski, were defeated 11-3 by the Middlebury Panthers in an NCAA Division III baseball contest.

The matchup was played at the Middlebury Baseball & Softball Complex. It marked the first meeting of the season between these teams.

Gwarjanski pitched one inning, allowing one earned run. He issued four walks and tallied one strikeout.

The Cadets’ next competition is set for Saturday, March 21, at 4 p.m. at Mackenzie Stadium against the Elms Blazers.
