Durham Town Elections, Town Meeting Set for April

Municipal elections and Town Meeting will be held on April 1 and 2 in Durham.

Elections will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1, at the Durham Eureka Center (note new location).

Durham residents will cast their ballots that day for candidates running to fill two open seats on the Select Board, three open seats on the Budget Committee, and one open seat on the RSU5 Board of Directors. A sample ballot is available here.

On Saturday, April 2, Durham residents will gather at the Durham Community School from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for Town Meeting 2022. Voters gathered will decide whether to accept or reject four proposed amendments to the Durham Land Use Ordinance. More information on the proposed amendments is available here.

Durham voters will also decide at Town Meeting whether to accept the budget for 2022, as well as several Capital Improvement Articles.
