Public Works is seeking summer help on their Parks & Cemetery crews and Landscape Tree Work crews. If any of the below duties interest you, please consider submitting an application. The work schedule is 40 hours/week, M-F, 7am-3pm; $13 - $15 per/hour depending on experience. An applicant must be 17 years of age and have a valid Class C driver’s license.
Duties Undertaken by the Crews: mowing, weed whacking, athletic field maintenance, athletic field game prep including line markings, field grooming, setting up athletic equipment pool maintenance, and operating a mechanical sidewalk sweeper or litter vac. Landscape work includes planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, and assisting in tree work - pruning and removing trees and chipping brush. Lawn mowing and/or landscape experience preferred but not required.
