The Lisbon Fire Department conducted wildland fire training. The location we used was off the papermill walking trail.
This training also had another purpose. We used this opportunity to assist Lisbon Parks & Recreation with doing a prescribed burn in the area to burn out invasive plant species and help reduce ticks. In all the department burned about 3 acres.
