Congratulations, Lily Douglass! Lily, age 12, recently became the youngest person to win The Telling Room’s annual writing contest, and she is the first from Lewiston in the contest's 15-year history. Each year, The Telling Room asks Maine students age 10 to 18 to submit no more than 1,500 words for a panel of judges to consider. The theme for this year’s contest was “mystery.” Lily's entry was selected out of 139 submissions!
