LEWISTON'S CLERK'S OFFICE IS TOP-NOTCH! The week of May 1 - 7 is the 53rd Annual Professional Municipal Clerks Week. Initiated by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks in 1969 and endorsed by all of its members throughout the United States, Canada and 15 other countries, the week is a time of celebration and reflection on the importance of the Clerk’s Office.
Lewiston's City Clerk staff coordinates the administration of all elections for the city; issues hunting, fishing, and dog licenses; records & maintains all vital statistics (birth, death, marriage); and serves as custodian of all official city records. Huge shout out to City Clerk Kathy Montejo, Deputy City Clerk Kelly Brooks, Senior Assistant City Clerk Allison Pease, Assistant City Clerk Erica Soiett, and Assistant City Clerk Jenna Roy. They all do a stellar job!
