Tuesday, May 10, Androscoggin County Emergency Management Agency completed Day 1 of the All Hazards Assessment. Representatives from each town in attendance were given presentations from NWS-Gray, the Maine Geological Survey, and the Cyber Security & Infrastructure Security Agency. The intent of this process is to provide jurisdictions an overall perspective on the hazards and threats that pose a risk to the county; profiling natural, technological and adversarial threats, and hazards.
By better determining our risks, we can better assess our capabilities to ensure that we are up to the challenge should a major disaster occur in Androscoggin County.
