On May 11, 2022 at approximately 11:37 pm Cpl Darian Nadeau observed a vehicle traveling south on Route 4 in Turner at a high rate of speed. Cpl Nadeau was able to catch up to the vehicle and conduct a traffic stop on Center Street in Auburn.
The driver was identified as Raishean E. Markie, age 21, of Portland, Maine and the passenger was identified as Justin I. Williams, age 20, of Saco, Maine. Both were currently out on bail and had numerous bail conditions which includes search and testing.
A search of their vehicle found numerous drugs to include methamphetamine, cocaine and an assortment of pills and over $3,400.00 in currency.
Both were arrested and taken to the Androscoggin County Jail and have have been charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Trafficking of a Schedule Drugs; Unlawful Possession of a Schedule Drug and Violating Conditions of Release. Both are still incarcerated at this time.
