The Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office is currently hiring for full-time Correction Officer positions available with lateral transfer compensation of up to 8 years for your previous experience. Starting pay range is $20.17 per hour to $23.01 per hour depending on prior experience plus education and shift stipends. We offer 12 hour fixed shifts (nights or days) in a fifteen day work rotation where you will have every other weekend off and be compensated for a 42 hour work week plus overtime opportunities. Androscoggin County offers medical and dental insurance, 25 year Maine State Retirement Plan, Mass Mutual Deferred comp., 13 paid holidays, Uniform Allowance and a great team working environment.
