Auburn City Ribbon Cutting for OTTO Pizza

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  |  A ribbon cutting event was held earlier today at Auburn’s newest restaurant, OTTO Pizza! The owners recently sat down with City of Auburn staff to close on a business loan used to open the 730 Center Street location. And today, the city – along with some special guests - helped Greg Ingrao and his team make the grand opening “official.”

Ingrao and his partners were pleased to receive assistance from Auburn’s revolving loan fund, which helps support businesses hoping to relocate, expand, and grow here. The loan program was established by the Auburn City Council on March 7, 2022, using funds from the city’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) allocation.

“Words cannot express how grateful I feel to be a part of the Auburn business community,” said Ingrao, an owner of Otto’s Auburn and Gorham locations. “The City of Auburn made it a smooth and easy process to establish our business here and I look forward to building a long-lasting relationship with the city, while my team and I also focus on providing flexible jobs for those in school and within the recovery community.”

Auburn Mayor Jason Levesque, who was joined by members of the city council, city staff, representatives of the L-A Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, local business and community partners, and other community leaders, says he is delighted to help welcome Otto Pizza to Auburn.

“Auburn is excited to welcome Otto’s to our vibrant business community. Their focus on their employees and on community support is not just admirable, but also inspiring,” said Levesque. “We wish them many years of resounding success here in our city!”

Otto Pizza’s Auburn location is a 90-seat restaurant conveniently located in Auburn Plaza. The vividly colored and beautifully appointed dining room features historic pictures of Auburn, and in addition to a unique and delicious pizza menu, Otto’s also offers a full bar, along with a wide selection of beers.

Limited loan funds are available to assist qualified Auburn-based businesses. Loans of $5,000 - $150,000 are available, with interest rates as low as prime rate plus 3%.
