LEWISTON HOME TO "BEST NEW RESTAURANT" IN MAINE! Downeast Maine magazine readers have once again spoken about “the best in Maine” for 2022. Lewiston’s Burnt End Barbecue was voted cream of the crop for BEST NEW RESTAURANT in Maine. Readers first voted in a write-in round, from which the top five vote-getters in each category became finalists. Then, thousands of voters picked the winners in a multiple-choice final round this summer. “We are so proud that Lewiston is Burnt End Barbecue’s home. The food is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and the restaurant is a wonderful addition to Lewiston’s dining scene," noted Mayor Carl L. Sheline.
