The Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office is currently hiring for full-time Correction Officer positions. Current starting wages are $20.17 thru $23.01 an hour depending on experience in the field plus stipends for education and shift differential. Under the recently negotiated collective bargaining agreement that takes effect January 1, 2023, the pay range adjustment is $21.42 thru $28.44 an hour with credit of up to 15 years’ experience in the field plus stipends for education and shift differential.
We offer 12 hour fixed shifts (nights or days) in a fifteen day work rotation where you will have every other weekend off and be compensated for a 42 hour work week plus overtime opportunities.
