Lewiston Leads recognition occurred at the Jan. 17 City Council meeting. Congratulations to Courtney Schlachter, owner of Quiet City Books, recognized by Mayor Carl L. Sheline, and Mr. Drew & His Animals Too, Lewiston's Exotic Animal Education Center at 550 Lisbon Street, recognized by Council President Linda Scott. Lewiston Leads challenge coins were presented to each. Innovation, creativity, civic engagement, and educational offerings were praised.
