The Mustangs were tasked to face the terriers in a crucial NECHA conference match-up game on Saturday night.
The Mustangs started strong but would face themselves down 2-0 while not converting their good play to goals. Penalty trouble would overtake in a physical rivalry battle, leaving the Mustangs with a shortened bench. However they kept battling and would find a way to tie the game 2-2 sending it to overtime. The Mustangs would prevail in the shootout but for standings it will count as a tie.''
