The Bates women's lacrosse team was honored for its academic achievements on Wednesday by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.
As a team, the Bobcats were named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad. To qualify for this prestigious honor, a women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year. The Bobcats currently sport a team cumulative GPA of 3.56.
Individually, 11 Bates women's lacrosse players were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
The 11 Bates honorees are: Environmental Studies major Annie Conway '23 of South Salem, N.Y., Biology major Allison Greuel '23 of Freeport, Maine, Sociology and Economics major Shelby Howard '23 of Ashland, Mass., French and Francophone Studies/Environmental Studies major Zoe Knauss '23 of Buffalo, N.Y., Neuroscience major Cammie Lavoie '23 of Epping N.H., Sociology major Eva Lee '23 of San Francisco, Calif., Biology major Anna Reaman '22 of Hingham, Mass., Gender and Sexuality Studies major Chloe Robinson '23 of North Salem, N.Y., Environmental Studies major Sophie Scola '23 of San Mateo, Calif, Psychology major Stella Stone '23 of Providence, R.I., and Sociology major Dana Swartz '22 of North Andover, Mass.
